 Hans Sturzenbecher, Owner & Operator

Hans is a European Trained Chef & Hospitality Professional.

Hans gained experience with Hilton Hotels in Germany, the Famous London Hilton and exclusive restaurants throughout Europe. Moving to North America with Sheraton Hotels, Hans continued his career in catering to host some of the largest events in Toronto. Most recently Hans was the Food & Beverage and General Manager for the Toronto Congress Centre, one of Canada’s largest meeting and tradeshow venues. Hans is a Certified Professional Catering Executive (CPCE), and has been active within the Toronto Food & Beverage Association as well as the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE). Hans is the proud owner of his family run upscale diner, Macy’s. Hans provides home-style meals for great value, bringing regular customers through his door again and again. Hans has positioned Macy’s truly as a dining destination in the South Mississauga & Oakville neighbourhoods.

 Samantha Sturzenbecher-Chan, Manager, Operations & Events

Samantha is a graduate of George Brown College & Ryerson University’s Hospitality & Restaurant Management Schools. She gained her work experience through the Toronto Golf Club and Port Credit Yacht Club as well as with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts at the Royal York. A past member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), and a true perfectionist at heart, her expertise includes planning, preparing for and executing special events.

 Robin Chan, Head Chef

As a graduate of both the Humber College and Liason College Culinary programs, Robin has 14 years of culinary experience in kitchen management. His past positions include private clubs such as Royal Woodbine Golf Club, the Port Credit Yacht Club, and The Toronto Congress Centre. Robin’s true passion in life is great food, and he is eager to create something special for you and your guests.
